Transparency — conflict of interest This article is about Div’In, an app that we, Sandrine and Gary, created ourselves. We are both the authors of The Green Odyssea and the founders of Div’In. So this isn’t an independent review: it’s the honest story of a project that means a lot to us. We wanted to make that clear before you read on.
From a divers' frustration to an idea
If you follow us on The Green Odyssea, you know that diving is a big part of our lives. As divemasters for over ten years, we’ve explored the oceans across several continents, hopping from one dive site to the next, from one center to another.
And at every stop, the same problem kept coming back: too much paperwork, dive logs scattered everywhere, complicated bookings, certifications to dig out every single time, and dive centers buried in admin instead of enjoying the water. We divers were losing time; the centers were losing energy.
Rather than keep grumbling between two dives, we decided to build the solution we wish we’d had in our pocket.
That became Div’In.
